What VigLink was, and what it is now

VigLink started in San Francisco in 2009. A site owner added its script, and it turned ordinary links to shops into affiliate links. VigLink held the affiliate programs and shared the commission.

Sovrn bought VigLink in December 2018. The name was retired, and viglink.com now leads to Sovrn Commerce. It is the same idea under a new name. Sovrn's script still loads from a viglink.com address.

Is VigLink still around?
The product is, under a new name. Sovrn bought VigLink in December 2018 and it is now Sovrn Commerce. The VigLink website leads there.
Do old VigLink links still work?
Sovrn's script still loads from a VigLink address and sends clicks through one, so those addresses are in use today. To check an old link, click it.
Is FreshStore a VigLink alternative?
Only if you want an affiliate site. FreshStore builds the site and fills it with products. For affiliate links in content you already have, Sovrn Commerce is VigLink's successor, and Skimlinks does the same job.
Can I use Sovrn Commerce on a FreshStore site?
Yes. Paste a Sovrn link as a product's link, or add its script under Custom Scripts. Sovrn approves each site itself.
