Fresh Store Builder (FSB), 2010 to 2023
Fresh Store Builder was the self-hosted affiliate store script we sold from 2010 to 2023. It is retired. There are no downloads, no patches and no support tickets. The same team now builds FreshStore, the hosted version. Here is the full story, the honest comparison, current reviews, and what FSB licence holders get.
If you found FSB through an old review, a course or a forum thread, the software you read about no longer exists in a form you can buy or install. The rest of this page explains what replaced it and what that means for anything you already own.
FSB was a PHP application you bought once and installed yourself. You needed a host, FTP access, a MySQL database and enough patience to keep all three working. In 2010 that was a fair trade, because nothing else turned marketplace product feeds into a finished store.
What broke the model was maintenance. Every time a marketplace changed an API, a rate limit or an image rule, every self-hosted install in the world went stale at once. Owners had to notice, download a patch and apply it. Most did not, so stores quietly stopped updating and stopped earning. PHP versions moved on, hosts changed their defaults, and a script sold as a one-time purchase turned into a part-time job for the person who bought it.
We tried to fix that with hosting in 2017, under the name Fresh Store Instant, and got part of the way. The full answer needed a rebuild, which became FreshStore in 2023. At that point we stopped selling FSB rather than leaving an unpatched script on sale. Both decisions are on this page because people still find the old reviews first.
FSB was a one-time payment and the source code sat on your own server. FreshStore is a subscription, and you do not get the source. If a one-time licence and full control of the code are what you want, and you are happy patching a server yourself, FreshStore is not a like-for-like replacement and we would rather say so here than after you sign up.
What you get instead is that the maintenance is ours. Marketplace changes, security patches, hosting, SSL and keeping product data in step with the marketplaces are all on our side of the line, and stores keep running while that happens.

Most people arriving here still have an old install, a domain pointed at it, and a licence key in an email from years ago. This is what each one is worth now.
If it still runs, nothing forces you to switch today. It will keep drifting: no patches, and marketplace changes it cannot follow. Treat it as a site with a shelf life, not a permanent asset.
These are the part worth keeping. A FreshStore store takes about ten minutes to build, and you point your existing domain at it. The age and links on that domain carry over. The old script does not.
It no longer unlocks anything, because there are no releases to unlock. It is still worth something to us: send the details to support and the team will sort a loyalty discount for FSB licence holders.
