Redirects have been rebuilt. Paste a full old link instead of only its path, send it to any page or address, and see whether each redirect works and when it was last used. You can also add a whole list of redirects at once.
You can now move a domain you registered through FreshStore to another registrar. Request the transfer code from your account and it is emailed to you, ready to give to your new registrar. Your domain is yours, and you can take it wherever you like.
You can now point a spare domain at one of your stores. Any verified domain in your account can redirect to a store and keep the page path, so an old link still lands on the matching page. Each redirect gets its own SSL certificate.
You now get an email when one of your domains stops reaching your store. The email names the exact address that stopped working, so you can fix it before visitors start to notice. Most often the cause is a DNS record that was changed or removed at your domain provider.
You can now add and edit DNS records yourself, such as MX, TXT and CNAME, on any domain that uses FreshStore nameservers. Go to Domains in your account, click Manage on the domain and open the DNS Records tab. There is no need to contact support to set up email or verify a service.
You can now find a domain much faster. Type an idea and AI suggests names, .com first, with the renewal price shown before you buy. Register a domain straight onto one of your stores, then manage it from a clearer domains list under Build > Domains that shows each domain's status and expiry.
You now get reminder emails before a domain you registered with FreshStore expires. They arrive in stages as the date gets closer, and each one says plainly which domain is due and how to renew it, so a store does not stop working because a renewal slipped past.
Improved: stores keep serving pages if a background service has a problem, instead of going offline.
Fixed: visitor stats on busy stores could be incomplete because the background sync timed out.
Fixed: store login, sign up and password pages had no proper titles or descriptions, and the store name did not fill in on account page titles and llms.txt.
Fixed: AI image prompts that the safety filter rejected still cost chips. They are now free and retried once with reworded text.
Fixed: on some stores the per category Subcategory Products switch did not save. It now works on every store.
Fixed: affiliate tracking links longer than 250 characters were cut short.
Fixed: small logos looked blurry because they were stretched, and large logos could spill out of the header. Logo uploads now show the recommended size.
Fixed: store login links stopped working after you changed your account email.
Fixed: some domains showed the wrong registration or nameserver status.
Fixed: Clear Cache did not refresh settings and header scripts, and could get stuck on Clearing.
Automatic renewal now covers every domain you register through FreshStore. Until now some domains were left out and needed watching by hand. Each one now renews on its own, with the same reminder email a week before, so none of your store addresses lapse by accident.
Store names and domain names that include big brand names, such as Apple or Samsung, are refused, and the list of blocked brands is now longer.
Using another company's trademark in your store address can get the domain taken away from you, so it is safer to avoid it from the start. If a name is refused, choose one that describes your niche or the products you cover instead. The guide on choosing a store name and domain has tips.
Domains you register through FreshStore can now renew automatically, so your store address does not lapse by accident. You get a reminder email a week before each renewal, and registration invoices now name the domain they are for, which makes your records easier to follow.
Domains you register through FreshStore can no longer be deleted from your account by mistake. If you try, a message explains why the domain is protected, so you never lose a domain you own.
When you create a store, the subdomain is now optional and defaults to your store name, so there is one less thing to choose. The form also explains the free vanity domains you can use while you decide on a custom domain.
Each domain page in your account now shows the nameservers currently set on the domain. If something does not look right, the page points you to Refresh DNS, which checks your nameservers or CNAME again so you can confirm a change has taken effect.
When you buy a domain through FreshStore, it is now registered automatically as soon as checkout finishes and added to your account, ready to connect to a store. Domain searches also now reject restricted words, so you only see names you can register.
You can now search for domain names and register one without leaving FreshStore. In the Domains area of your account, type a name to see what is available, then register it for your stores. Your stores and their domains stay together in one account.
The list of free vanity domains has grown past 24, and some of them suit particular niches. Pick one when you create a store and launch without buying a domain name. You can still connect your own domain whenever you are ready.
