What's new in FreshStore

New features, improvements, fixes and guides, newest first. Every entry has its own page and date.

New

23 Amazon countries, fully integrated

FreshStore now works with Amazon in 23 countries. They are the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Australia, India, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Belgium, Ireland, Singapore, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and South Africa.

In every one, prices and stock refresh on their own and show when they were last checked. Search any country in Products > Product Finder, in its local currency. To earn there, add your tracking ID in Settings > Amazon.

New Stores Templates

Your hero can now play a video

Your homepage hero can now play a video, as a silent background loop or as a video visitors click to play. Open Design > Editor, click your hero and set Media to Video. Then upload a clip, paste a link to a video you host, or pick a free stock clip.

A new Video Section puts a video on any page, and above or below the content on category, brand and article pages. Your hero picture still loads first, so your store stays fast.

A new Instant Store built from scratch on Crystal or Vista opens with a matching stock video when one fits its niche.

New Domains

Transfer a domain to another registrar

You can now move a domain you registered through FreshStore to another registrar. Request the transfer code from your account and it is emailed to you, ready to give to your new registrar. Your domain is yours, and you can take it wherever you like.

New Stores

Choose what store search covers

You can now choose which fields each part of your store search looks at, meta keywords included. Set it up so visitors find the products and articles they expect when they search your store. The settings are in your store admin with your other search options.

New Templates

Four new templates for every store

Four new templates join Crystal and Emporium: Bounty for deals, Compass for buying guides, Podium for ranked picks and Vista for a look book. Every store can use any of the six. Preview your own store in a template before you switch, and your work comes with you.

Phone layout and page width options

You can now choose how products are ordered on phones and how category tiles are laid out, and let your content run the full width of the screen. Use them to fit your store's layout to your catalogue and your visitors.

New Articles Templates

Article side rail and category intros

Articles now show a side rail with a table of contents, more articles and topics, so readers keep exploring your store. Category pages open with an intro that shows a picture or links to their subcategories. Both work on every template, with nothing to set up.

New Articles Products

Product cards inside articles

Articles can now show product cards inside the text, each one linked to a real product from your store, so readers can go from reading to buying in one click. Articles also get a related products category, which picks the products shown with each article.

New Products Account

Import Amazon links from your account

You can now add Amazon products to a store without opening its admin. On the store's page in your account, paste up to 25 Amazon links or product codes and they are imported into that store. It is the quickest way to add a handful of products when you are already in your account.

New Templates

Prism, a new look for Crystal

If your store uses the Crystal template, you can now switch it to the Prism look: rounded glass cards, gradient pill buttons and a frosted header. It is optional: switch it on in Design, and your content and settings stay as they are.

Preview your store in any template

Before switching templates, you can now preview your own store in any of them: your homepage, a product, a category and a guide. A readiness check lists anything the new template needs, with a button to fix each one. You see exactly how your store will look before you switch.

New Domains

Redirect spare domains to a store

You can now point a spare domain at one of your stores. Any verified domain in your account can redirect to a store and keep the page path, so an old link still lands on the matching page. Each redirect gets its own SSL certificate.

New Products

Price history on every offer

Every offer on your store now shows its price history, on every template. Visitors can see how the price has moved over time and whether today's price is a good one before they click through to buy. It works on its own, with nothing to set up.

New Account

Manage many stores from one table

If you run two or more stores, a new Table view lists them all with their tags, estimated earnings, Google and Bing figures and health. Select several stores to change settings, merchants or connections in one go. You see a preview before anything changes, and you can undo a bulk change for 7 days.

About You on your store

You can now add your name, a photo and a line about yourself to your store. About You shows beside your articles, so visitors can see a real person picked the products and wrote the reviews. Set it up once and it shows across your store.

New Ask Fresh

Ask Fresh, your AI support assistant

Ask Fresh is a new AI assistant that answers your FreshStore questions in your account, in every store admin and on the FreshStore website. It cites the guides it uses, knows your own stores, replies in your language, and hands you to our team when you need a person.

New Account

Support tickets inside your account

You can now open and follow support tickets in your account under Resources > Tickets. Every conversation with our team is in one list, newest first. You get a notification when we reply, and unread tickets show a badge. You can still contact us the usual way too.

New Templates

Sections around category and article pages

You can now add Store Editor sections above, below or beside the main content of your category, brand and article pages, for example a banner, a newsletter signup or featured products. Where a template cannot show a section in a spot, the editor labels it clearly.

A separate shop for AI Chips

AI Chips now has two clear parts in your account. Your chips shows your balance and how you have used it. Buy AI Chips is a separate shop with clearer packs, so it is quicker to see which pack fits and top up when you need more.

Buy Now beside Add to Cart

You can now show an optional Buy Now button beside Add to Cart. It takes visitors straight to the retailer's product page as a tracked click, for shoppers who want one item and no cart. When visitors do use the cart, checkout groups their items by merchant.

Use categories or an article as your homepage

Your homepage no longer has to be the page you build in the Store Editor. Go to Store > Pages, open Homepage and choose to show your categories page or a single article instead, such as a pillar post. Requested on the FreshStore roadmap.

New Articles

Import articles from Markdown or HTML

You can now upload up to 20 Markdown or HTML files at once, and each one becomes a draft article in your store. Add front matter at the top of a file to set its title, slug, meta description and categories. Check the drafts, then publish when they are ready.

Schedule the Offer Box and shuffle picks

You can now set start and end dates on your homepage Offer Box, so a promotion shows only while it runs. Featured products, categories and articles can also shuffle on each visit, so returning visitors see something new. Both settings are in the Store Editor.

Reply to store messages

You can now reply to messages from your store's contact form in one click. The Reply button opens your own email app with the message ready to answer. Messages also show an unread count, and you can mark them as read.

Sticky header and tall logo options

You can now keep your logo and menu on screen while visitors scroll, with the new sticky header option. A Tall logo size gives stacked logos the room they need. Both were requested on the FreshStore roadmap, and you find them with your other header settings in Design.

One Upgrades page for every add on

The Upgrades page in your account is now one hub for every add on, so you can see everything you can add to your stores in one place. The expert store review now has its own page, where you can see what it covers and order one.

New Products Templates

Visitors can sort product listings

Visitors can now sort the products on your category, brand and All Products pages. You choose the default sort order for the whole store, and you can set a different order for any single category. Sorting was requested on the FreshStore roadmap.

New Instant Stores, newest first

Ten new Instant Stores have arrived, and a New this month strip at the top of the Instant Store picker shows the latest ones first. Every Instant Store now comes with at least 80 products and five articles, so a store you copy starts full.

Emporium, a template for big catalogues

You can now switch your store to Emporium, a department store template built for big catalogues. The homepage opens on your departments with their product counts, product grids are dense so visitors see more at once, and search sits in the header.

Your own colours or an AI palette

You can now set five colours of your own for your store, and FreshStore checks they stay readable. Or let AI create a palette that suits your niche in one click. Your store background colour can be changed too. Find it all under Design in your store admin.
