Browse every Instant Store before you pick
The Instant Stores page on the FreshStore website now shows every Instant Store available, each with a screenshot, so you can see what a store looks like before you choose it.
New features, improvements, fixes and guides, newest first. Every entry has its own page and date.
The Instant Stores page on the FreshStore website now shows every Instant Store available, each with a screenshot, so you can see what a store looks like before you choose it.
New Instant Stores now rewrite their product content when they are created, so every store starts with its own product text rather than copies shared with other stores.
You can now choose which countries your store serves and the language its AI writes in. Visitors get a country menu to pick their country, and your AI content, from articles to product text, is written in the language you choose. Set both in your store settings.
You can now give your store a full shopping cart. Visitors add several products to one cart as they browse, then check out together, including through Amazon checkout. It is optional, so you can turn it on for stores where shoppers tend to buy more than one item.
Store images are now converted into optimised sizes automatically, so pages load faster and use less data on phones. A new tool lets you see and manage every image in your store.
New stores now always load over a secure HTTPS connection and are delivered faster to visitors around the world. Images, styles and scripts stay cached in visitors' browsers for a year, so repeat visits load quicker.
When you create a store, the subdomain is now optional and defaults to your store name, so there is one less thing to choose. The form also explains the free vanity domains you can use while you decide on a custom domain.
Stores are quicker to load. They now cache their key files, need fewer lookups to build each page, and turn away more junk traffic from bots and spam before it slows your store down.
You can now add HTML and JavaScript to every content field in your store. Embed a video, a signup form, a comparison widget or tracking code in a product, article, category or page, right where you want it to appear.
New Instant Stores now generate their own unique articles instead of sharing the same ones, and they start with better products, offers and eBay auctions. Each new store begins with content that belongs to it alone.
You can now add every social link and profile for your store in the Traffic section, so your store links out to all the places you post and your profiles are managed in one place.
A set of smaller improvements went out to every store:
You can now download your store's data as spreadsheets. The new Exporter page exports your categories, products, articles, brands and users, so you can keep a backup, review your content in a spreadsheet or prepare bulk edits. Each export downloads straight to your computer.
Busy stores and the store admin now run quicker after a round of speed work behind the scenes. Offer buttons now load once when a page opens, and the activity log tidies itself so it no longer slows your store down over time.
You can now customise your store's menus. Turn link sections in the top and bottom menus on or off, change the menu text and headings, and add your own links to the top menu, for example to a page about you or to another site. Your navigation can now match how you want visitors to move around your store.
Guide links in your store admin now open in a sidebar, so you can read the help while you work instead of switching tabs. The Offer Settings page also shows its guides in place, right next to the settings they explain.
You can now remove the Create Account and Login links from your store header. If your store does not need visitor accounts, one setting hides both links and gives your header a cleaner look. Visitors can still browse your store and click through to offers as normal.
You can now add your own text or HTML in several more places on your homepage, including a new content section. Use them for an introduction to your store, a welcome message, featured links or an embed such as a signup form, and put each one where it fits your layout.
Your store now tells Bing and other IndexNow search engines about new and changed pages automatically. When you publish or update a product, article or page, they are notified straight away, so they can crawl it sooner. There is nothing to set up. A new Traffic Settings page groups your search engine options in one place.
New Instant Stores are now set up with more unique articles and content, so each store starts out more different from others built on the same niche and is ready to go sooner.
You can now see what is holding your store back on one page. Store Health lists warnings about anything that needs your attention, such as a missing Amazon tracking ID, so you can fix problems before they cost you clicks or commission. Check it after you set up a new store.
When you edit a product, brand, category, article or page, your store now clears its cache for you automatically. Your changes show to visitors straight away, with no need to clear the cache by hand.
Custom redirects can now use full page paths, not just slugs. You can send an old address, such as a nested category or article path, to its new home, which helps when you move content around or bring a site over from elsewhere.
A set of smaller upgrades went out to every store:
The Instant Store library has more than 20 new ready-made niches. Each one gives you a complete store built around its topic, so you can start from a niche that fits your audience instead of building from a blank store. Pick one when you create your next Instant Store.
