Improved: stores keep serving pages if a background service has a problem, instead of going offline.
Fixed: visitor stats on busy stores could be incomplete because the background sync timed out.
Fixed: store login, sign up and password pages had no proper titles or descriptions, and the store name did not fill in on account page titles and llms.txt.
Fixed: AI image prompts that the safety filter rejected still cost chips. They are now free and retried once with reworded text.
Fixed: on some stores the per category Subcategory Products switch did not save. It now works on every store.
Fixed: affiliate tracking links longer than 250 characters were cut short.
Fixed: small logos looked blurry because they were stretched, and large logos could spill out of the header. Logo uploads now show the recommended size.
Fixed: store login links stopped working after you changed your account email.
Fixed: some domains showed the wrong registration or nameserver status.
Fixed: Clear Cache did not refresh settings and header scripts, and could get stuck on Clearing.
You can now search your whole store admin for a setting.
Press Cmd K on a Mac or Control K on Windows and type what you need. Admin search finds individual settings, design options, texts, links and images. Pick a result and it opens the right tab and highlights the field, so you no longer need to remember where each setting lives.
You can now create a store with a step by step wizard.
If you are not sure what to build, AI suggests a niche and a list of brandable store names to choose from. Once your store is created, a getting started checklist on your dashboard shows the next steps to get it ready for visitors.
You now get a gentle warning when an uploaded image has the wrong shape for its spot, such as a logo, hero or product image.
The warning tells you before the image looks stretched or cropped on your store, so you can choose a better one. It never blocks the upload: you can still save the image if you want to use it.
The Launch Plan widget on your store dashboard now shows your next unfinished step as a button.
Click it to go straight to that task, instead of reading through the whole plan to find where you left off. As you finish each step, the button moves on to the next one.
We tightened the steps that run while a store is being built, so there is less waiting between creating a store and seeing it live. The change applies to every new store you create from your account, and there is nothing for you to change.
Your store's contact and newsletter forms now catch more spam on their own, so fewer junk messages and fake sign-ups reach you. Real visitors fill the forms in exactly as before.
Store pages now tell browsers and our delivery network how long they can keep a copy of each page.
Visitors who come back, or who browse from page to page, get pages sooner because their browser and the nearest server already hold a fresh copy. Faster pages help visitors stay and browse. There is nothing for you to set up.
You can now connect your own tools and scripts to your store through its REST API.
Create and manage API keys in your store admin, then work with products, categories, brands, offers, articles, pages and settings, and read your store stats. Use it to automate routine edits, sync products from a spreadsheet, or build your own reports. The guide lists every endpoint.
You can now refresh your store with a Clear Cache button in the store admin header.
After you change products, design or text, click Clear Cache and visitors see the new version straight away, instead of waiting for the store to refresh on its own. It is the quickest way to check a change on your live store.
Stores now keep a ready copy of the information they show most often, so category pages, menus and article pages load faster, especially on larger stores.
Visitors wait less for each page, which helps them stay and browse. Nothing needs setting up: every store got the speed boost automatically.
Tools such as ChatGPT, TikTok and SEO crawlers can read your store again.
Some of these services had been blocked from visiting stores, which could stop link previews, AI answers and SEO tools from seeing your pages. They are now allowed in, so your store previews properly when shared, can be picked up by AI search, and can be checked by the SEO tools you use.
Every store now checks visitors before a page loads and turns away bad bots and junk traffic. Real shoppers are not affected.
This keeps your store fast when bots arrive in bulk, and keeps your visitor stats closer to the real people who came to shop. There is nothing to set up: it is on for every store.
Every store now publishes an AI Treasure Map, an llms.txt file that helps AI chat and search tools understand your store and cite it in their answers.
It is created automatically from your store's content. A new page in your store admin lets you customise it, so you can describe your store in your own words and point AI tools at your best pages.
Your store dashboard has been rebuilt from the ground up.
Menus are grouped so tools are easier to find, and a global search jumps straight to any product, article or setting. You also get notifications, a Deleted tab to restore items you removed, a warning before you leave a page with unsaved changes, and help links beside each section. Advanced Mode shows extra options when you want them, and the whole dashboard supports dark mode.
You can now tidy your store in one click with Store Cleaner. It removes expired offers, products that no longer have any offers, and brands and categories with nothing in them, so visitors only see items they can actually buy.
A new Article Images tool also lists the articles that are missing images, so you can add them where they are needed.
You can now edit your store's robots.txt file from the Traffic settings in your store admin.
The robots.txt file tells search engines and other crawlers which pages they may visit. Most stores never need to change it, but you can now add your own rules, for example to keep a section out of search results.
Stores now load faster and score better in Google PageSpeed. Speed work across the storefront cut load times, and stores now serve optimised versions of their images, so pages show sooner, especially on phones.
Faster pages keep visitors around and help your search rankings. You do not need to change anything: optimised images are created for every store automatically.
You can now keep up with your store from the notifications in your store admin.
You are notified when new articles are published, when visitors check out their cart, when someone clicks one of your affiliate links, and when a message arrives through your contact form. It is an easy way to see your store working without digging through reports.
Schema markup now covers more of your store. Your pages, categories, brands and article categories now carry structured data that helps search engines understand them and show rich results.
A new rich results check explains in plain English what each page tells search engines and whether anything needs attention.
You can now follow a Launch Plan on your store dashboard. It is an interactive checklist that takes you through each step of launching a store, in order.
Steps tick themselves off as you complete them, so you can always see how far you have come and what to do next. New members get a clear path from a fresh store to one that is ready for visitors.
Store names and domain names that include big brand names, such as Apple or Samsung, are refused, and the list of blocked brands is now longer.
Using another company's trademark in your store address can get the domain taken away from you, so it is safer to avoid it from the start. If a name is refused, choose one that describes your niche or the products you cover instead. The guide on choosing a store name and domain has tips.
